This Summer we were out in the community with the Back to School Giveaway in Summerton, SC; our annual charity golf tournament in Orlando, FL; and as we prepared for golf in South Carolina, Tropical Storm Debby, forced us to postpone. As Summer winds down, we are gearing up for September – Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. Did you know there are no reliable screening tests for ovarian cancer?? The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition recommends making an appointment with your doctor if any of the following symptoms persist for more than two (2) weeks. Common ovarian cancer signs and symptoms; bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, difficulty eating or feeling full quickly, urinary frequency. That’s why it’s so important to pay close attention to your body.
We’ll have various “SPOTLIGHTS” during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month,
so make sure you’re following us on all social media outlets. There is
plenty of information we want to share with you to spread awareness of
this horrible disease. Everything we do is to bring ovarian cancer
awareness to communities and raise funds for ovarian cancer research.
