Did you know…women who’ve had ovarian cancer— especially at a younger age — face a slightly higher risk of developing breast cancer later, and vice versa. September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month and as we inform, we want to empower and give HOPE.
There are survivors of a cancer diagnosis. The Survivor’s Story of Allisia Robinson is one that is special, and full of HOPE. She is both a gynecologic (cervical/vaginal) cancer AND breast cancer survivor. As we exit Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and enter Breast Cancer Awareness, we have to stay vigilant, know the sign and symptoms, and walk empowered through a cancer journey. Listen as Allisia talks about what she would tell others walking through a cancer journey and how having faith helped her FIGHT!
If you’re walking through a cancer journey, are a caregiver to a fighter, loss a loved one to ovarian cancer or have become a survivor — know that in this family NO one fights alone. JWC Memorial Foundation is here for Awareness, Empowerment and HOPE.
